  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
    • In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using) until evenly coated.
  3. Roast the Brussels Sprouts:
    • Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down.
    • Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the edges, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
  4. Add Balsamic Vinegar (Optional):
    • If desired, drizzle the roasted Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar during the last 5 minutes of roasting. Return to the oven and continue roasting until the vinegar has reduced and coated the sprouts.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish.
